At Genuine Love Pet Care LLC, your pet’s care, safety, and comfort are our highest priorities. This disclosure explains how our services are provided, including circumstances where independent contractors may be involved in caring for your pets.


 

Use of Independent Contractors

To ensure reliable service and consistent care, Genuine Love Pet Care LLC may assign qualified independent contractors to assist with certain bookings when necessary.

When a Contractor May Be Assigned

A contractor may be assigned when:

  • The owner is already booked.
  • The owner is unavailable on specific dates.
  • Additional coverage is needed to maintain service quality.
  • Scheduling demands require additional support.

You will always be informed if a contractor is assigned to your booking.


Care Standards & Expectations

All caregivers, including independent contractors, are expected to maintain the same standards of care provided by Genuine Love Pet Care LLC.

Contractors:

  • Follow all care instructions provided by the client.
  • Adhere to our overnight, drop-in, and dog walking service standards.
  • Provide attentive, professional, and compassionate pet care.
  • May leave the home for reasonable periods during the day, consistent with industry standards.
  • Do not provide 24/7 or constant supervision unless specifically agreed upon in writing.

Our services are designed for pets that can comfortably remain alone during normal workday periods.


Who Provides Your Pet’s Care

Some services may be performed by independent pet care providers working with Genuine Love Pet Care LLC.

These providers:

  • Are carefully selected.
  • Are insured.
  • Follow our company policies and care standards.
  • Are assigned only when appropriate and necessary.

While contractors may assist with service delivery, the business owner remains responsible for scheduling, oversight, quality standards, and client support.


Communication & Oversight

To ensure accountability and consistency:

  • Contractors are required to provide service updates.
  • Any concerns, incidents, emergencies, or unexpected situations must be reported to the business owner promptly.
  • The business owner remains your primary point of contact for scheduling, questions, and concerns.

Our goal is to provide seamless communication and dependable care throughout your service experience.


Privacy & Security

Protecting your privacy is important to us.

All contractors:

  • Are prohibited from sharing your personal or contact information.
  • May not solicit clients for services outside of Genuine Love Pet Care LLC.
  • Are bound by confidentiality and non-solicitation agreements.

Your personal information and household details remain protected and confidential.


Your Choice

If you prefer that services be provided exclusively by the owner, please notify us in advance.

Please note that owner-only availability may be limited depending on scheduling demands.

We are committed to transparency and will always communicate who will be caring for your pet.


Client Responsibilities & Respectful Environment

To help ensure safe, professional, and reliable care, clients agree to provide a reasonable environment for all assigned caregivers.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete care instructions.
  • Disclosing any behavioral concerns, aggression, escape tendencies, medical conditions, or bite history.
  • Ensuring pets are current on all legally required vaccinations, including rabies where applicable.
  • Providing safe and reliable access to the home.
  • Supplying clear and functioning entry instructions.
  • Maintaining a reasonably clean, sanitary, and safe environment for in-home and overnight services.
  • Providing all necessary pet supplies, including food, medications, leashes, litter, cleaning supplies, and emergency contact information.

Respectful Conduct Policy

Genuine Love Pet Care LLC is committed to maintaining a respectful and professional environment for both clients and caregivers.

Clients agree to treat all caregivers with professionalism and respect.

The following behaviors will not be tolerated:

  • Harassment or intimidation.
  • Discrimination of any kind.
  • Threatening or unsafe behavior.
  • Providing misleading information regarding pets or household conditions.
  • Inappropriate surveillance in private sleeping or changing areas used by caregivers.

Right to Refuse or Terminate Services

Genuine Love Pet Care LLC reserves the right to refuse, modify, suspend, or terminate services if:

  • Conditions are unsafe or unsanitary.
  • Information provided about pets or the home is materially inaccurate.
  • A pet presents an undisclosed safety risk.
  • A caregiver feels uncomfortable, threatened, or unsafe.
  • Client behavior violates our respectful conduct policy.

These decisions are made to protect the safety and well-being of pets, clients, and caregivers.
